Since 1984 Markus Molitor has been managing his estate in Wehlener at the heart of the Middle Mosel. enlarging his holding of 1.5 hectares of the vineyard to 120 hectares comprising of many of the top Grand Cru sites on the steep slopes of the Middle Mosel and further south in the Saar region.
Wine: Clear, quite cool and floral nose with a fine, light note of slate and Riesling fruit. Dense, juicy and concentrated on the palate. Ripe, almost tropical fruit, wonderfully balanced with powerful minerality. Long-lasting, animating finish, great aging potential.
