Variety: 40% Merlot, 30% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Syrah
Harvest: in September/October, all the grapes are hand-harvested and strictly selected on the vineyards, only the best can be a part of this wine. Fermentation: Sangiovese and Syrah make 6 days of cold maceration at 0-4°C and 16 days of fermentation (with selected autochthonous yeasts) at 24-26°C, Cabernet and Merlot make about 20 days of fermentation at 26-30 °C.
Colour: deep ruby red. Nose: cinnamon, raspberry, blueberry, pepper, cocoa and licorice are elegantly mixed.
Palate: harmonious taste, good texture with very persistent and pleasant finish, with scents of jam.
Aging: 14 months in French oak barrels.
Vintage: 2017 Alcohol: 14%
Serving temperature: 16°/18° C
Content: 0.75L
Suggested serving: aged cheese, game and red meat.
