Sauvignon vines prefer airy sites with limestone soils such as the steep slopes of Cantina Kurtatsch between 450 and 600 m a.s. The evening fall winds provide cooling climate regulation.
Aromatic and fruity, this has grassy floral notes of elderflowers, chamomile and fresh straw. On the palate, subtle gooseberry, tomato leaf, lemon and lime notes are wrapped in expressive passionfruit overtones. There’s a wet stone minerality along with the typical Sauvignon Blanc acidity and a crisp finish.
