ROSSO DI MONTALCINO 2021 DOC L'AMERICA
America was the name by which the winemakers, coming down from Podere Capanna to the edge of the woods, called this place where in the past, already in the 50s, there was a small vineyard and a shelter for animals. The boundaries of the estate, the name America evoked distance and great ambition.
L'AMERICA today is the youngest wine in terms of immediacy and vision, characterized by acidic freshness and ease of drinking. The plot is located at 300 meters above sea level, in a soil with a good presence of skeleton but rich and deep. Protected from the winds it maintains the aromas deriving from the woods and benefits from a mitigated insolation that maintains low pH, excellent acidity, bright colors and quantitative tannic contents
Hence the idea of expressing this personality in a young wine aged in steel to maintain verticality of drinking and integrity of the sip.

PAIRINGS
Spaghetti, Calamari Zimino, Lard Cream, Oyster in Black
The combination of the new Rosso di Montalcino L'America with Spaghetto, Zimino di Calamari, Crema di Lardo and Ostrica al Nero best summarizes the game of balance between the freshness of the wine and that of the dish, similar in intensity and brilliance, and that of contrasts between the sweetness of the dish and the pleasant asperities of a young and vibrant Sangiovese. A wine that comes from the selection of the best grapes of the vineyard of the same name, located in the northern part of the property that in this new declination acquires more complexity and structure.
