Pisano is a family winery, located in the Progreso region, the winemaking heart of Uruguay. RPF begins with a generous palate, offering us strong flavors of blackberry, raspberry and plum. These are supported by accents of warm chocolate, spice, cedar and forest smoke. It is elegant and dry, with tannins that envelop the mouth and a vein of vibrant acidity. In the long finish, the oaky tannins are in the foreground. It is a brilliant wine to pair with Mexican food, red meats cooked in Uruguayan style or pasta sauce rich in tomato.
