The excellent structure and strong personality make the Cabernet Sauvignon "Freienfeld" from the Kurtatsch winery a wine of undisputed character, as well as the flagship of the estate. Vinified only in the best years, Cabernet Sauvignon grapes come to life on the warm and sinuous slopes of Cortaccia. The must, after 14 months of maturation in first and second passage barriques, and following assembly in large wooden barrels, is refined in the bottle for over a year. In the glass, the “Freienfeld” has a garnet red color. The finesse and intensity of the bouquet are reminiscent of ripe cherries, currants and blueberries, which open the dance to scents of nutmeg and red flowers.
