Rosso Bricchetta is a juicy and intriguing wine, a liquid example of the completeness that Barbera can offer. It is a Blend of 85% Barbera and 15% Nebbiolo. A perfect meeting point between elegance and ease of drinking, which makes it extremely suitable for gastronomic pairing. Bricchetta ages in French oak barriques for 14 months , enriching itself with inviting toasted nuances

The bricchetta shows itself with its intense ruby robe, just poured into the glass. The nose, which could be defined in dark shades, encloses the pluminess of plum and blackberry, intertwining it with greedy nuances of licorice, vanilla and coffee. If the smell outlines a rich picture, the tasting confirms this impression, however showing a 360 degree wine that combines power and freshness , blending on a very long persistence. Liquid example of style and finesse, not to be missed at this price.

Perfume: Intense, fruity and spicy, with hints of black fruit, vanilla, licorice and toasted nuances

27 hectares of vineyards for this now affirmed reality of Alessandria, where although the white grape varieties are the masters, there are also rows of Nebbiolo and Barbera, or the grapes of the Monferrato tradition. La Bollina winery has been able to adopt a style that combines modernity , especially as regards the instruments in the cellar and the winemaking techniques, and a more traditional approach in the cultivation of the vine.

The vines rest on marly-clayey soils and have south, south-east exposure which allows a perfect ripening of the fruit. After careful sorting of the grapes, the bunches are brought to the cellar and subjected to a 4-day prefermentative maceration which takes place at controlled temperature, as well as fermentation, which lasts about 10 days. The malolactic fermentation is carried out completely in stainless steel containers.
