The demanding Gewürztraminer prefers warm and ventilated locations with deep clay soils. These conditions are given in the Brenntal area northwest of the town of Cortaccia.
Gewürztraminer gets its multifaceted aromatic structure from the red clay soils: lychee, rose, mango, caramelized orange peel and lavender. On the palate, the wine presents itself with a creamy texture and an elegant acidity that keeps the muscular body in balance. The wine acquires its complexity after a long maturation in the cellar and in the bottle, which is why the product is released on the market as a Riserva only two years after the harvest.
Gewürztraminer BRENNTAL: the long-lived wine.
