Parker: Since 2011, Molitor also cultivates three hectares mostly planted with old vines in the Saarburger Rausch vineyard, a top site which has gained a famous reputation through Hanno Zilliken from Weingut Forstmeister Geltz-Zilliken. The sweet 2013 Saarburger Rausch Riesling Spätlese indicates champignon aromas at the moment on the bright and clear, slightly flinty nose. The palate, however, is deliciously juicy and piquant, a stimulating and brilliant combination of precise Riesling flavors and the spicy and piquant character of the Rausch vineyard. The salty finish is terrific and a great stimulant, as is the ripeness of the golden Riesling berries which are displayed on the tongue and in the aftertaste. 92/100
